WizzHire HR · Shifts and work time
Who works when, and how long they worked.
A shift roster by department, and a month of work time that offers itself from it. Approved leave and non-working days already sit on the roster, so nobody is given a shift on a day they are away.
The roster
A month is planned with the mouse.
Drag across empty days and the shift is there. Drag a card into somebody else's row and the shift moves, and if that person already has a shift that day, the two swap.
- A rotation is ordinary shifts. Morning then night, every week, to the end of the month: the roster writes those rows for you. Afterwards they are ordinary shifts, so any one week is corrected without unpicking a pattern.
- No overlaps. One person cannot hold two shifts on the same day. The roster refuses and names what it collides with, rather than quietly cutting the old one short.
- Managers plan their own people. HR plans the whole company, a manager their own team, and somebody with read access sees the roster without the buttons. The shift planner is an add-on.
Work time
The month offers itself.
One month per person, in the columns the regulation asks for. The offer comes from the shift, the holiday and the approved leave, and only what somebody accepts becomes the record.
- Nothing is recorded until you accept it: an offer stays an offer, and the record is what you agreed to, a day at a time or a whole month at once.
- Annual leave, sick leave and holidays come from the leave record, with the code the regulation asks for, so nobody types them twice.
- The rules are not configured, you pick the regulation you work under. Days are priced and flagged against it, never refused.
