Notifications
The bell, the notifications page, everything WizzHire tells you about, and how to turn the emails off.
The bell in the top bar
Your unread count lives here
The bell in the top bar carries a red badge with your unread count, which goes up to 99+.
Click the bell and a dropdown opens with your most recent notifications. From there you can Mark all as read (the double-check button in the header) or click View All Notifications to open the full page.
The notifications page
The full page lists everything you have received, newest first, with the unread count at the top (it flips to All caught up! when you have read them all). The tabs are All, Messages and System, so you can separate chat from everything else.
- Search: click the magnifier in the header to reveal the search box, then type to filter by title, message or company name.
- Mark all as read: the double-check button next to it clears the whole unread count in one go.
- Select and delete: click the checkbox button to enter selection mode, use Select all or tick items one by one, then click Delete.
- Load more: the page shows 50 at a time. If you have more than that, each click on Load more adds the next 50.
Clicking a notification does two things: it marks it as read, and it takes you straight to whatever it is about. A message notification opens the conversation, an application notification opens the application, a job notification opens the job, an interview notification opens the interview. You never have to hunt for the thing the notification is telling you about.
What WizzHire notifies you about
Notifications cover both sides of the platform. You only get the ones that apply to you:
- Applications: a status change on an application you sent, and a new application landing on a job you posted.
- Interviews and bookings: reminders before an interview, a candidate selecting an interview slot, and bookings confirmed or cancelled.
- Messages: a new message, with the sender's name and a short preview.
- Requirements: a requirement submitted, approved or rejected, plus reminders about ones you still owe.
- Jobs: job matches, new jobs from companies you follow, and, on your own postings, published, paused, expired and expiring soon.
- Team and billing: an invitation to join a company, and a warning when your plan tokens are about to expire.
Notifications by email
Some notification types also reach you by email so you do not miss them while you are away from WizzHire. Turn product updates and digest emails off from Settings → Email Communications, which is a single toggle.
